The Newsmy A11HD+ MP5 player is the upgraded version of A11HD. It adopts Chinachip CC1600 chip, RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV format video files max up to 1920x1080p playback. You cannot take press photos from China literally. They almost always look impossibly good-looking. It’s not unusual to feel like they gave you the wrong model when you open the box. Newman’s new A18HD, a 720p player, is just such a device. Some press photos that came with the model’s announcement are nothing short of a breakthrough. Unfortunately, we do not believe it. The product from Chinese camp Newsmy is the A16HD, a 8GB HD PMP that offers TV-Out at 1080I/768 decoding and has a slick-looking PSP style interface.For viewing on the go there’s the 5 inch, 16 million colour LTPS (low temperature polysilicon display) 800 x 480, 16:9 widescreen display which supports RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV, MP4, VOB, MOV, 3GP, MPG and DAT formats. Audio support comes in the no surprises guise of MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV and APE & FLAC lossless formats, all playable through the onboard speaker.
